This is one thing we can do... share and listen.
Upset about racial inequity but don’t know how to help in a meaningful way?
The Big Table has been creating spaces for connection across difference since 2017, and we are committed to continuing our work to create opportunities to listen to each other, learn about our differences and similarities, and inspire wise action to create a more equitable city.
You are invited to participate in Courageous Conversations on Race, held via Zoom every Sunday evening from 7-8:30pm. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88581719994?pwd=VHdad1FSUzVBVmR4dndLeFdoQmxHZz09
Courageous Conversations on Race will follow a simple but proven conversation guide. The conversation encourages participants to express their personal experience around race, explore ideas around power and privilege, and most importantly, lead to conversations about tangible actions that we can individually and collectively take to address racial inequity in our city and country.
Staying in our silos and echo chambers only makes the problem worse.
Let's learn from each other and discover how we can each contribute to living Louisville's highest potential.
